Rihlatok ("we") is a local travel company based in Marrakech, Morocco. This page explains what personal data we collect on rihlatok.com, why, and what your rights are. We only collect what we need to organise your trip.

What we collect
- Booking requests: the details you type in the booking form – name, email, WhatsApp number, date, number of guests, hotel or riad for pickup, the activity or transfer you choose, options, flight number (optional) and the language you want to be contacted in.
- Messages: what you send us by WhatsApp or email.
- Website statistics: anonymous visit counts (pages viewed, country, device type) through GoatCounter, which does not use cookies and does not identify you.
- Advertising cookies (only if you accept): the Meta Pixel (Facebook / Instagram) measures whether our ads lead to visits and booking requests.
Why we use it
- To answer your request, confirm your booking, organise the pickup and contact you before and during your trip (to take steps you asked for before a contract, and to perform it).
- To understand how the website is used and improve it (our legitimate interest, with anonymous statistics only).
- To measure our advertising, only with your consent. You can refuse – the website works the same.
We never sell your data, and we do not send you newsletters unless you ask for them.
Who receives your data
We use a few trusted services to run the website and handle your requests:
- Hostinger – website hosting and our email (contact@rihlatok.com).
- Web3Forms – sends the booking form to our email inbox.
- Google (Gmail) – where we read and answer our emails.
- WhatsApp (Meta) – when you contact us or we confirm your booking by WhatsApp.
- Meta (Facebook / Instagram) – the Meta Pixel, only if you accept cookies.
- GoatCounter – anonymous website statistics.
- Microsoft Clarity – only if you accept cookies: records how visitors use the pages (clicks, scrolling) so we can improve the website. Form fields are masked.
Some of these providers are located outside Morocco or the European Union (for example in the United States). They use their own safeguards to protect personal data. We also share your name, pickup place and phone number with the driver or local partner who runs your trip, only as needed to organise it.
How long we keep it
We keep booking requests and messages for as long as needed to organise your trip and handle any questions afterwards, and longer only when the law requires it (for example for accounting). Then we delete them.
Cookies and local storage
The website remembers your language and your cookie choice in your browser (local storage). The Meta Pixel and Microsoft Clarity set cookies only after you click "Accept". You can change your choice at any time with the button below, or clear your browser data.
Your rights
You can ask to access, correct or delete your personal data, object to its use, or withdraw your consent at any time. Just write to contact@rihlatok.com and we will answer quickly. In Morocco, personal data is protected by Law 09-08 and supervised by the CNDP; visitors from the European Union also have the rights given by the GDPR and can contact their local data protection authority.
Changes
We may update this page if our website or services change. The date at the top shows the latest version.
